Filipino Spaghetti

Hi. I'm going to show you an easy way to make Filipino Spaghetti, a Filipino adaptation of Italian spaghetti with Bolognese sauce.

You will need:

  • 2 lbs. Spaghetti noodles
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 6 ounces luncheon meat minced
  • 4 pieces hotdogs or beef franks
  • 35 ounces Filipino Style Spaghetti Sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 medium onion minced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil

How to cook:

  1. Cook the Spaghetti noodles according to package instructions, transfer to a bowl and set aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a Pan.
  3. Sauté the onion and garlic.
  4. When the onions are soft, add the ground pork.
  5. Cook until light brown.
  6. Add the luncheon meat and hotdog.
  7. Stir and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  8. Pour-in the Spaghetti sauce and beef broth.
  9. Stir and let boil.
  10. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
  11. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  12. Pour the sauce over the Spaghetti and top with shredded cheese.
  13. Serve and enjoy!
