Pork Adobo
Hi. I'm going to show you an easy way to make show you how to make Pork Adobo, a tangy, savory, and slightly sweet Filipino dish.
You will need:
- 1 Kilo Pork Belly
- 1 Bulb Onion (White or Red onion)
- 1 Bulb Garlic
- 3 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ Tablespoon vinegar
- 2 Tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ Tablespoon brown sugar
- And ½ Tablespoon oyster sauce as an option
How to cook:
- Cut the pork belly into bite-size or cube size then set aside.
- Pound and mince the bulb.
- Finley chop the onion bulb.
- Heat your casserole pot to medium-high heat.
- First, sauté the onion until we have a clear texture.
- Add the garlic sauté it until the aroma comes out.
- Add the pork belly and ground black pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and oyster sauce.
- Then add 1-2 cups of water and simmer it for 30-45 minutes or until the meat is tender.
- When it’s cooked transfer it to a bowl and serve it with hot white rice.
