Chicken Adobo
Hi. I'm going to show you an easy way to make chicken adobo, a delicious Filipino dish that is tangy, garlicky, slightly sweet, and spicy.
You will need:
- Chicken Drum Stick
- Chicken Breast
- ground black pepper
- Onion
- Garlic
- soy sauce
- Vinegar
- brown sugar
- And oyster sauce
How to cook:
- Cut the chicken breast into cubes or bite-size and set aside with the drumstick. Pound and mince the garlic. Finely chop the onion.
- Heat your casserole pot medium to high.
- Sauté the onion until there’s a clear texture or until it separates.
- Add the garlic and sauté until aromas come out.
- Add the chicken and the remaining ingredients, plus 1 cup of water.
- Braise for 25-30 minutes or until the meat is tender and the sauce starts to thicken.
- Serve in a bowl with hot white rice.
