Beef Bulalo

Hi. I'm going to show you an easy way to make beef bulalo, a delicious Filipino soup that is great for a cold or rainy day.

  1. Get a big cooking pot, pour in water, and bring to a boil.
  2. Add the beef shank, followed by the onion and whole peppercorn. Simmer for 1.5 hours (30 minutes if using a pressure cooker) or until the meat is tender.
  3. Add the corn and simmer for another 10 minutes.
  4. Add the fish sauce, cabbage, bok choy, and green onions.
  5. Serve hot.
